Here’s Jhonny? Cards plan for infielder’s return

The Cardinals are hoping to get Jhonny Peralta back next week, according to general manager John Mozeliak.
Peralta, who has not appeared in a game this season after tearing a ligament in his left thumb in Spring Training, could rejoin the Cards as early as Tuesday, Mozeliak said in an interview with 101 ESPN.
Mozeliak told the radio station the Cardinals plan to play Peralta at third base to keep Aledmys Diaz at shortstop. The move would shift Matt Carpenter to second base, where he played …
