Carpenter hires Pigot for road, street courses

DETROIT — Indy Lights champion Spencer Pigot is joining Ed Carpenter Racing and will drive the No. 20 car for the remaining road and street course events on this year’s IndyCar schedule.
ECR announced the move Thursday, with two races coming up this weekend at Belle Isle’s street course in Detroit.
