PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Penguins earned a 2-1 overtime victory over the San Jose Sharks in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup finals Wednesday night at Consol Energy Center to take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series.

How it happened: Conor Sheary’s goal 2:35 into OT gave the Penguins the victory. Phil Kessel gave the Penguins an early lead at 8:20 of the second period for a 1-0 advantage.
