Aviator set for French Derby

Imperial Aviator is set to be added to the field for the Prix du Jockey Club at Thursday’s supplementary stage.
The Paco Boy colt made a big impression when winning the London Gold Cup at Newbury on his latest appearance, having previously beaten Ulysses, himself a leading contender for the Investec Derby, in a Leicester maiden on his seasonal debut.
Trainer Roger Charlton tweeted: “Imperial Aviator due to be supplemented tomorrow for Sunday’s Prix du Jockey-Club at Chantilly.”
