French Open 2016 Schedule: Tuesday Matches Cancelled Due to Weather

Another day of pouring rain meant just two French Open 2016 matches were finished on Tuesday before play was cancelled.

Samantha Stosur easily booked her quarter-final spot with a two-set win over Simona Halep, and Agnieszka Radwanska suffered a shock loss against Tsvetana Pironkova.

Pironkova won 12 of the final 15 games after struggling in the first set, booking her first-ever quarter-final spot in the process. As shared by Record’s Jose Morgado, Radwanska and Halep both had choice words for the organisation after they were forced to play in difficult conditions:

A handful of matches were interrupted, including Novak Djokovic’s contest with Roberto Bautista Agut, and several others didn’t even get started, like Serena Williams’ clash with Elina Svitolina.
