Lewandowski heads Poland squad

Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski headlines Poland’s 23-man squad for Euro 2016.
Lewandowski scored 44 goals in 49 appearances for the Bundesliga champions last season, and played a crucial role in Poland’s Euro 2016 qualifying campaign, netting 13 times in 10 games.
Goalkeeper Przemyslaw Tyton and forward Artur Sobiech, both relegated with their respective Bundesliga clubs this season, suffered further disappointment when they were left out of Adam Nawalka’s squad.
Tyton, who plays for VfB Stuttgart, and Hanover 96’s Sobiech were both included in the provisional squad but failed to make the final selection.
Defender Pawel Dawidowicz was also cut, while full-back Maciej Rybus and winger Pawel Wszolek missed out due to injury.
