Carvajal admits defeat

Spain defender Dani Carvajal has confirmed he will miss Euro 2016 due to injury.
The Real Madrid right-back sustained a muscular injury to his right leg during Saturday’s Champions League final.
Carvajal started for Real in their penalty shoot-out victory over Atletico Madrid, but left the pitch in tears six minutes into the second half.
The 24-year-old had been considered a certainty for Spain coach Vicente del Bosque’s final 23-man squad, which he names on Tuesday, but he knows the rehabilitation that lies ahead effectively rules him out of contention for the …
