Rossi earns more than $2.5 million for Indy win

INDIANAPOLIS — Alexander Rossi earned $2,548,743 for winning the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500.
Rossi’s winnings included a $50,000 bonus from Sunoco for being the top rookie in the race. The overall purse for the 33 drivers was $13,273,253.
