At UFC 189, Thomas Almeida (21-0) improved his professional MMA record to 20-0 by knocking out the veteran Brad Pickett. The official stoppage of the fight came at 0:29 of round two.
Now, the undefeated Almeida is scheduled to fight at the main event of UFC Fight Night 88 against fellow bantamweight prospect Cody Garbrandt. UFC Fight Night 88 takes place on May 29 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nev.
