Monumental Sports Network Receives Five Emmy Nominations for Broadcast Excellence

Washington, D.C. – Monumental Sports Network, which relaunched in March 2016 with mobile and OTT streaming devices and is owned and operated by Monumental Sports & Entertainment, received five Emmy Award nominations from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) National Capital Chesapeake Bay Region. All of Monumental’s nominations are for broadcast excellence and include Best Sports Feature Segment, Best Sports Director Post Production, Best Editor Short Form, Best Photographer Sports and Best Editor Sports.
“The exceptional work and talent of our productions staff is evident in the five nominations just announced for this year’s broadcast Emmys in our region,” said Zachary Leonsis, vice president and general manager of Monumental Sports Network. “The optimal goal for the Network is to provide unique and unprecedented sports content and programming.
