Murray grinds out another five-set win

Andy Murray was forced to go the distance again at Roland Garros as he ground out a five-set win over French wild card Mathias Bourgue.
Having come back from two sets down to beat qualifier Radek Stepanek in an opening-round match stretched over two days, Murray pulled off another escape act on Wednesday to win 6-2, 2-6, 4-6, 6-2, 6-3.
The world No.2’s victory in 3 hours, 34 minutes sets up a meeting with Ivo Karlovic — the oldest player, at 37, to reach the third round of a Grand Slam for 25 years. Murray has never lost to the Croatian, but this will be their first meeting on clay.
