Roland Garros Day 3 Recap: Comebacks, oversights and… improbable statements!

The three tenors (Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray and Rafael Nadal) have all reached the second round of Roland Garros 2016. Everything as expected, but if Nole and Rafa won their matches without problems, Murray struggled in his match against a fantastic Radek Stepanek, who besides being the Casanova of the circuit, is likely the last great player of old-style tennis, made of volley, dropshots and net-game, a style which unfortunately is disappearing. The flop of the day was definitely Angelique Kerber, who was defeated by Kiki Bertens, as well as Victoria Azarenka, out against Karin Knapp.
