Ken Condon feels Success Days gave a career-best performance when third in the Tattersalls Gold Cup and is now looking forward to an autumn campaign.

The mud-loving grey will have a break after taking minor honours behind proven Group One winners Fascinating Rock and Found at the Curragh, despite losing crucial ground by going over to the stands’ side in the straight.

Races such as the Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown in September, the Qipco Champion Stakes at Ascot in October and the Premio Roma at Capannelle in November will come under serious consideration, as long conditions are favourable.
