A’s place ace Gray on 15-day disabled list

The A’s placed right-hander Sonny Gray on the 15-day disabled list on Sunday with a strained right trapezius.
Left-hander Daniel Coulombe was recalled from Triple-A Nashville to replace Gray.
This is the first career DL stint for Gray, who was 3-5 with a 6.19 ERA in nine starts.
