Gallardo to throw bullpen session Sunday

ANAHEIM– Yovani Gallardo is progressing in his shoulder rehabilitation and will throw a bullpen session Sunday morning at Angel Stadium, Orioles manager Buck Showalter said Friday.
The bullpen will be the first time Gallardo — on the 15-day disabled list with right shoulder tendinitis — has thrown off a mound since he left an April 22 start at Kansas City. He’s been increasing his throwing progressions since beginning a throwing program on Saturday.
