Eubank Jr. targeting Golovkin fight

Chris Eubank Jr. has targeted a fight with Gennady Golovkin after signing a new promotional agreement with Matchroom Sport.
The British middleweight champion is to make the first defence of his title against Wales’ Tom Doran on the undercard of Anthony Joshua’s IBF world heavyweight title against Dominic Breazeale. He thereafter wants to challenge one of the world’s finest fighters.
The undefeated Golovkin, 34, is the WBA, IBF and WBC middleweight champion, after Saul Alvarez vacated the WBC title, and while he represents a significant step up for Eubank Jr., the 26-year-old and his father have long spoken of their belief he can be beaten.
