Notes: Eubank to face Doran in British title defense

A couple of notes from around the boxing world:
A day after Matchroom Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn announced that he had signed middleweight contender Chris Eubank Jr. and that he would fight on the undercard of heavyweight titleholder Anthony Joshua’s defense against Dominic Breazeale on June 25 at the O2 Arena in London, he announced Ebank’s opponent at a news conference on Thursday. Eubank (21-1, 17 KOs), 26, of England, will defend his British middleweight title for the first time against Tom Doran (17-0, 7 KOs), 28, of Wales. The fight will part of the Sky Sports pay-per-view telecast in the United Kingdom.’
