It was a good year to be a goal scorer in South Florida. The Florida Panthers finished the regular season with four 25-goal scorers for the first time in franchise history, scoring an average of 2.83 goals per game for the league’s eighth-ranked offense. Of the 28 skaters that competed in at least 10 games for the Panthers this season, 11 set new career highs in goals, including Vincent Trocheck (25), Aleksander Barkov (28), Reilly Smith (25), Aaron Ekblad (15) and Jonathan Huberdeau (20). Whether it was the result of a dazzling deke or a few deft passes, the Panthers offense never failed to bring fans to the edge of their seats while creating consistent chaos in front of opposing goaltenders throughout their 2015-16 campaign.
