Roger Federer Injury Update: Tennis Star Will Not Play at 2016 French Open

Roger Federer announced Thursday that he’s not going to play in the 2016 French Open as he continues to work on his fitness after suffering a back injury.
Federer confirmed the decision on his official Facebook page. Christopher Clarey of the New York Times noted it’s the first time since the 1999 U.S. Open that the Swiss superstar won’t be in a Grand Slam draw.
