Webb OK after deflecting liner into chin

TORONTO — Ryan Webb got a scare Tuesday night when pinch-hitter Jimmy Paredes drove a ball back through the middle at the Rays’ right-hander in the eighth inning of the Rays’ 12-2 win over the Blue Jays.
Webb got his glove up just in time to deflect the blow, but he still got dinged on the right side of his chin.
