A’s summon Hahn, option Surkamp

The A’s optioned left-hander Eric Surkamp to Triple-A Nashville on Tuesday to make room for right-hander Jesse Hahn, who will start Tuesday’s game against the Rangers in Oakland.
The club also recalled infielder Max Muncy from Nashville to replace catcher Josh Phegley, who was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a strained right knee. Phegley’s move was retroactive to May 10.
