NORTH CALDWELL, N.J. — A young NFL quarterback can improve his understanding of X’s and O’s by studying his playbook on a computer tablet and by watching his coaches diagram plays on a whiteboard — the old-fashioned way.
There’s another way: Video games.
Bryce Petty, a second-year quarterback for the New York Jets, believes his football aptitude has improved based on the way he plays Madden.
