FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — New England Patriots receiver Danny Amendola underwent surgery on his left knee earlier this offseason, in addition to a procedure to remove bone spurs from his ankle, but his rehabilitation has been on a positive track and he’s already moving well, sources told ESPN.
Amendola’s situation was referred to as “minor” and “not a long-term” concern, according to sources.
The Boston Herald first reported the surgeries on Monday.
