Josh Hill: Communicating with WSOF has been easier since Abdelaziz’s depature

During Ali Abdelaziz’s run with WSOF, bantamweight fighter Josh Hill, who rematches champion Marlon Moraes in the main event of WSOF 32 this July, was very vocal about the way he was treated by the former Executive Vice President and Matchmaker. On multiple occasions, Hill complained about Abdelaziz’s favoring his clients (Abdelaziz manages several fighters, including Moraes) when matching up fighters and that situation being a conflict of interest, along with not receiving fights, and simply communicating with Abdelaziz.
From the sounds of it, Hill’s biggest issue was getting hold of Abdelaziz. In an interview with The Parting Shot Podcast this past December when Abdelaziz was still with the organization, Hill said it was very difficult dealing with Abdelaziz as he failed to return phone calls, emails and text messages frequently. And for Hill, that meant less fights under the WSOF banner and ultimately forced him to take a fight elsewhere.
