UFC 198 medical suspensions: Warlley Alves potentially out six months with broken orbital bone

Warlley Alves suffered his first MMA loss at Saturday’s UFC 198 and could be out of action for up to six months, the Brazilian MMA Athletic Commission (CABMMA) announced Monday.
Alves suffered a unanimous decision loss to Bryan Barberena in the pay-per-view portion of the card, and suffered a broken orbital bone.
Yancy Medeiros, who lost a thrilling battle to Francisco Trinaldo in the preliminary card, was also issued a 180-day suspension due to a suspected broken orbital bone, but UFC’s Giovani Decker revealed on the post-fight press conference that he was cleared in the hospital.
