Walker eyeing Ascot for Stormy

Ed Walker is aiming to get his Craven Stakes winner Stormy Antarctic back in peak form for next month’s St James’s Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot
Well fancied for the Qipco 2000 Guineas, he was one of a number of leading fancies to disappoint in the Classic.
However, it transpired he pulled a muscle in his shoulder and Walker was pleased something came to light.
“Stormy is building back up,” he said. “He pulled a muscle in his shoulder and in the end it was a relief that was all it was because a few days after the race, he was in a bit of a mess and we were quite worried.
