Andy Murray: ‘He didn’t play his best today. In the past I didn’t believe enough in myself on clay’

Andy Murray knew he had a sort of advantage going into the final against Novak Djokovic. The Serb had played in total five hours and a half on Friday and Saturday, and it influenced him today.
“He didn”t play his best today – Murray recognized – It”s not easy playing late matches and having to come back the next day. That”s one of the challenging things about the Masters Series. In the slams you don”t have that, because you get a day of rest. It”s not easy.
