Orlando ready to help despite sore left wrist

KANSAS CITY — Royals right fielder Paulo Orlando was still nursing a very sore left wrist on Sunday, a day after he was hit by a fastball from Braves starter Mike Foltynewicz.
The worst part: The home-plate umpire ruled it a foul ball, and Orlando didn’t even get a free base for his pain.
But Orlando was relieved after Saturday’s 5-0 loss that there was nothing broken in the wrist.
“I was scared,” Orlando said before Sunday’s series finale. “It was loud, so loud it sounded like it hit my bat.
“But it’s nothing serious. I got the MRI, just in case. Nothing broken.”
