Orlando collects 2 hits in battle for RF job

KANSAS CITY — There were hardly any bright spots for the slumping Royals in a 5-0 loss to the Braves on Saturday night.
The Royals mustered just seven hits and no runs against Braves starter Mike Foltynewicz.
But two of those hits were by Paulo Orlando, who is trying to take the right field job away from Jarrod Dyson.
Orlando took a step toward that on Saturday by singling sharply in the first. He also drilled a double down the left-field line in the eighth.
