Bradley’s hitting streak reaches 19 games

BOSTON — Jackie Bradley Jr.’s success at the plate has been such a constant as of late that the Red Sox’s center fielder is nearly out of words when describing how locked in he feels.
“I don’t know,” Bradley said after a 7-6 loss to the Astros on Friday night at a rainy Fenway Park. “I’m just trying to focus on one at-bat at a time, trying to make it tough for the pitcher and get on for the guys behind me.”
With three hits, Bradley extended his hit streak to a career-long 19 games, which marks the longest streak in the Majors this season.
