Italian Open 2016: Thursday Rome Masters Tennis Scores, Results, Latest Schedule

Roger Federer’s 2016 Italian Open campaign was ended at the last-16 stage by Dominic Thiem on Thursday as the Austrian produced an excellent performance to beat the world No. 2 7-6(2), 6-4.
Federer looked to be struggling slightly with injury, but Thiem was clinical with his serve and groundstrokes as he claimed victory in under 80 minutes.
World No. 1 Novak Djokovic will look to join Thiem in the quarter-finals when he takes on Brazil’s Thomaz Bellucci later on Thursday, while Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray are both in action against Nick Kyrgios and Jeremy Chardy, respectively.
