Washington Nationals star Bryce Harper has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed sum for confronting an umpire following his ejection from Monday night’s game.
Harper, the reigning National League MVP, has elected to file an appeal and is in the lineup and batting third for Wednesday night’s series finale against the Detroit Tigers.
