Mickelson: Over par could win 2017 PGA title

The 2017 PGA Championship will be held at Quail Hollow Golf Club in Charlotte, normally the host site of the Wells Fargo Championship.
It will be the first time the course has hosted a major championship, which has some, like Rory McIlroy, very excited. Phil Mickelson is also excited about returning to Quail Hollow for a major, as he has seven top-5 finishes at the Wells Fargo, but he knows that the course will play very differently than it has in PGA Tour play.
For one, there is a redesign coming to the front nine and new grass will be put in on the greens across the course, but Mickelson is speaking more about what happens when they let the rough grow up to major tournament length and get the greens running fast.
