Rory ready to tackle 2017 PGA at Quail Hollow

Rory McIlroy finished T4 at the Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow in Charlotte on Sunday after a final round 66, as he came up just short of defending as champion of the event.
The Wells Fargo Championship will be held at Eagle Point Golf Club in Wilmington, North Carolina next year as Quail Hollow prepares for hosting the 2017 PGA Championship.
The course will be getting a facelift, with the front nine undergoing a redesign and the greens getting new grass between now and the PGA Championship, but even though the course will look a bit different, Rory McIlroy is thrilled about the chance to compete for a major at a place where he’s had so much success.
