Overeem on fighting teammate Arlovski: We’re not friends, barely train together

UFC Fight Night 87 will see teammates Alistair Overeem and Andrei Arlovski duke it out to determine one of the next possible contenders for the heavyweight title.
It’s a bout that is being marketed as a fight between two training partners, but according to ‘The Reem’, the two heavyweights rarely interact behind closed gym doors.
Arlovski was reportedly upset with the Overeem’s enthusiasm towards the bout and felt that the former Strikeforce heavyweight champion was pushing the UFC for the matchup. Overeem states that the promotion contacted him about the fight and he saw no reason to turn it down.
