Marshawn Lynch Placed on Seahawks’ Reserve/Retired List

The Seattle Seahawks announced that they placed former running back Marshawn Lynch on the reserve/retired list on Thursday, making his retirement official, per John Boyle of Seahawks.com.
Lynch has not filled out his retirement papers yet, according to Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times. However, Gregg Bell of the News Tribune reported that since the team put him on the list before June 1, Lynch’s $5 million charge against the team’s salary cap will all count in 2016.
