Manziel booked, will appear in court Thursday

Former Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel was booked Wednesday in relation to a misdemeanor charge stemming from a domestic violence complaint by his ex-girlfriend.
Manziel’s attorney, Bob Hinton, told ESPN’s Mark Schwarz that Manziel has been booked in and booked out at the Highland Park jail at about 3:25 p.m. CT and was released on $1,500 bond.
Manziel will appear in court before Judge Roberto Canas on Thursday morning, Hinton told ESPN.

Manziel was charged for allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend Colleen Crowley in January. The charge carries a maximum penalty of a $4,000 fine and a month in jail.
