Harris cleared to resume throwing program

ST. LOUIS — Mitch Harris has been granted clearance to resume his throwing program after having his right elbow examined by Dr. George Paletta on Monday.
Harris opened the season on the disabled list after feeling discomfort around his elbow midway through Spring Training. The Cardinals hoped that a few weeks of rest would alleviate the issue, though once he began throwing again in April, Harris complained of trouble finishing his pitches.
