Djokovic: ‘Rivalry with Nadal helped me to become who I am now. Calendar Grand Slam is my ambition’

Novak Djokovic had a long and interesting interview with Marca, in which he spoke about his dominance, goals and about Rafael Nadal’s comeback.
According to the 11-time Majors’ winner, he’s never been unbeatable. He said, ‘When you win one match after another your confidence increases but I’ve never felt unbeatable. Surely wins make you believe more in yourself when you enter a tennis court. I try to prepare (myself) to not have ups and downs in the same match.’ Then he was asked about his rivalry with Nadal, about which he said, ‘He beat me many times, then I did and vice versa. I beat him many times in the last year-and-a-half but it does not mean I’m confident of beating him. On the contrary, against him I am more focused, I play with more intensity because be tries something new to clash my game. I define my matches against him as something beautiful and sometimes special. It’s a privilege facing him many times because he is a legend of our sport.
