Love ‘fine’ after injury scare

CLEVELAND — Kevin Love walking off the floor holding his shoulder is never a good sign.
And it doesn’t bring back any good memories for the Cleveland Cavaliers, either.
It was Love’s left shoulder that was dislocated in the first round against Boston last season, causing him to miss the rest of the playoffs — and leaving us all wondering what might’ve been in the NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors if the Cavs had been at full strength.
This time, it was Love’s right shoulder that took the brunt of the contact — contact that he created when he pump-faked, got Kent Bazemore up in the air and drew a foul beyond the 3-point line in the corner with 3:32 left in the Cavs’ 104-93 victory in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semifinals.
It was the same shoulder that Love fell on — twice — during the Cavs’ first-round sweep of the Pistons.
