Stephen Curry Recalls He ‘Struck Out’ 1st Time He Tried to Kiss His Future Wife

Stephen and Ayesha Curry are happily married these days, but believe it or not, there was a time when the hoopster found himself struggling just to move beyond being friends.
Now that may not have had anything to do with Steph himself. He was in a tough situation that featured him having feelings for a girl who wasn’t allowed to date at the time. While he has had some shots blocked on the court, the biggest rejection he ever fell victim to came at the hands of the person who would wind up being his future wife.
In an interview with Alan Shipnuck of Parents, Steph and Ayesha opened up about the way their relationship began. As we found out, the basketball player had to follow the rules and wait for his time:
