2016 EPT Grand Final Main Event Day 2: 1,098 Entries Tallied and Calamusa Leads

The second day of the 2016 PokerStars and Monte-Carlo® Casino EPT Grand Final €5,300 Main Event was filled with excitement, and Pierre Calamusa bagged up the overnight chip lead with 580,800 in chips.
Early on Day 2, the tournament saw Leo Margets, Gaelle Baumann, Felipe Ramos, Igor Kurganov, Salman Behbehani, and Niall Farrell hit the rail. Team PokerStars players Liv Boeree, Yaxi Zhu, Jason Mercier, Betrand “ElkY” Grospellier, Naoya Kihara, Lex Veldhuis, and Celina Lin were all knocked out on Day 2 as well, but there are still plenty of players left representing the red spade.
