Fantasy411 chat: White or Park for power?
- Updated: May 2, 2016
MLB.com fantasy expert Fred Zinkie fielded questions from fans during a live Twitter chat (at @fantasy411) on Monday. Read through the best of the Q&A below. Questions and answers have been edited for clarity.
@KevinWiles: Should I drop Tyler White for Byung Ho Park?
Fred Zinkie: I’m fine with that switch. Park’s power production is likely more sustainable than White’s power.
@dkuhlman0420: Yu Darvish just got dropped in my league, should I go ahead and pick him up?
Zinkie: Definitely. Darvish could be a borderline ace by the beginning of June.
@JasonStier: Bryce Harper and Matt Holliday for Andrew McCutchen, Matt Harvey and Jose Berrios. Which side do you prefer in a keeper league?
Zinkie: The Harper side. It’s highly unlikely that I would trade away Harper in a keeper league.
@tgraham907: Is Michael Conforto for real? Where does he fit among my outfield of Lorenzo Cain, Dexter Fowler, Yasmany Tomas, and Stephen Piscotty?
Zinkie: In your outfield, he ranks in a tie with Fowler as the second-most valuable asset behind Cain. Yes, Conforto is for real.
@bfont_17: Should I pick up Chris Carter or Brandon Drury for Kolten Wong?
Zinkie: Yes, pick up Carter.
@thealexmoretto: Please rank these players for the rest of the season — Victor Martinez, Conforto, Wil Myers. Should I drop Randal Grichuk or Corey Dickerson for any of them?
Zinkie: Conforto, Martinez, Myers. I would drop Grichuk for Conforto.
