Moritz Boehringer to Vikings: Twitter Reacts to WR Being Taken in 2016 NFL Draft

Moritz Boehringer made history when the Minnesota Vikings made the German sensation the 180th pick in the 2016 NFL draft.
Per Sports Illustrated’s NFL Twitter account, Boehringer is the first European-born player with no college football experience ever drafted by an NFL team.
The explosion on social media after Boehringer’s selection was almost as fun to see as the young man getting his moment in the spotlight.
Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press noted that Boehringer planned to become a Viking in the event he didn’t get selected:
Moritz Boehringer said he would sign with the #Vikings as a free agent if not drafted but Vikings obviously couldn’t take that chance.
