Lions draft safety team told they didn’t want

The Lions selected Miles Killebrew with the 111th pick in the NFL draft. That pick, while not splashy in any way really, might’ve been the most surprising pick on Saturday. Because at the Senior Bowl, the Lions told Killebrew, to his face, that they didn’t want him on their team.
And then they drafted him in the fourth round exactly three months after the Senior Bowl.
