Kenyan Drake: Round-by-Round Updates, Twitter Reaction in 2016 NFL Draft

Former Alabama Crimson Tide running back Kenyan Drake was not expected to be a first-round pick in the 2016 NFL draft, and that came to fruition Thursday.
With other superstars such as Ohio State Buckeyes ball-carrier Ezekiel Elliott and Drake’s college teammate, Derrick Henry, dominating much of the predraft discussion at the position, Drake flew under the radar, which is exactly where he was at Alabama with ball-carriers such as Henry and T.J. Yeldon racking up accolades.
However, Drake will be a name to watch in the latter rounds, especially since he tallied the third-fastest 40-yard-dash time among running backs at the NFL Scouting Combine (4.45 seconds), per NFL.com.
He also showed off his speed and versatility in one of the most pressure-packed moments of his collegiate career with a 95-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in the fourth quarter of Alabama’s national championship game victory over the Clemson Tigers.
