Corey Coleman to Browns: Twitter Reacts as WR Is Selected in 2016 NFL Draft

The Cleveland Browns traded out of the second overall pick before the 2016 NFL draft and on Thursday made another deal with the Tennessee Titans to slide from eighth to 15th on the first-round draft board.
After a longer wait than expected to choose a new player, Cleveland went with a much-needed playmaker in Baylor wide receiver Corey Coleman.
Twitter lit up with reactions once the Browns had made their maiden choice under yet another new regime.
Rotoworld’s Patrick Daugherty praised the Coleman pick, crediting the genius of new Cleveland executive Paul DePodesta:
To trade back twice and still get a player like Corey Coleman? More NFL teams should hire ex-baseball execs as “chief strategy officers.”

Chris B. Brown of Smart Football dismissed any concern about Baylor’s simplistic offense as Coleman prepares to make the NFL transition:
