Bears get Floyd

With the ninth overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, the Bears select Georgia linebacker Leonard Floyd.
CBSSports.com’s Pete Prisco gave the pick a B-.

Well, the Bears must’ve really wanted Floyd, because in order to get him, they were forced to engineer a trade with the Buccaneers. Moving up from No. 11 to No. 9 ended up costing them a fourth-round pick, in addition to swapping first rounders, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Here’s what the move will cost financially:
The maximum Leonard Floyd will get in his 4-year rookie deal is $15,782,987, which includes a signing bonus of no more than $9,678,536.
