Gallardo pain-free, but no timetable for return

BALTIMORE — There is no timetable for the return of starting pitcher Yovani Gallardo, Orioles manager Buck Showalter said Thursday before Baltimore played the Chicago White Sox in the opener of a four-game series.
Gallardo, a 30-year-old right-hander who went on the 15-day disabled list on Saturday with tendinitis in his right shoulder and biceps, has been doing “cuff exercises,” Showalter said. Gallardo has been pain-free, but Showalter said it …
