Hinojosa exits after liner hits hand; X-rays negative

WASHINGTON — Phillies right-hander Dalier Hinojosa suffered a bruise on the palm of his pitching hand when he was struck by a line drive off the bat of Washington center fielder Matt den Dekker in the eighth inning of Philadelphia’s 3-0 win at Nationals Park on Thursday.
Phillies manager Pete Mackanin said X-rays were negative, but he intends to watch the reliever closely.
